This is a really nice park the city built on top of an abandoned train rail that snakes through the west side of lower Manhattan. I recommend hitting up the Whitney Museum of American Art at the end of the park around 14th street and/or heading over to Chelsea Market nearby for something to eat or…
Sorge dove c’era una vecchia ferrovia. Bellissimo fare il percorso al tramonto e poi arrivare al Vessel quando il sole sta tramontando
Great way to walk around the city and take in not just views but some history of NYC as well.
The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated linear park, greenway and rail trail created on a former New York Central Railroad spur on the west side of Manhattan in New York City.
An abandoned raised train track that has been converted into miles of a beautiful pedestrian walkway
There’s something uniquely New York about this aerie. Built on an abandoned railway track, the space is ingenious in its use of reclaimed industrial detritus, a necessity in footage-starved Manhattan. But what we like best is how the pathway takes you above the city while keeping you rooted in urban…
The highline is an old train station turned into a park! The park is elevated above the NYC skyline and it’s a wonderful place to take a stroll and take in the city views. Highly suggested.
Walk in betwen the buildings, in what used to be train Tracks, becoming High line Park.
A converted raised railroad track built into a winding garden path with some art and snacks along the way
Relatively new attraction in the historic meatpacking district. Right next to Chelsea Market -- perfect for a stroll on a sunny day.

“A walk, peddle, or carriage ride through the crisscrossing pathways of Central Park is a must-do on anyone's New York City itinerary. In winter, you can even lace up your skates and glide across Wollman Rink. This huge park in the city center, a half-mile wide and 2.5 miles long, is one of the things that makes New York such a beautiful and livable city. Besides being a great place to experience a little nature, Central Park has many attractions within its borders, and most of them are free, making it one of the few cheap things to do in NYC. Some of the most popular places to visit include the Belvedere Castle, Strawberry Fields, the Central Park Zoo, and the Lake. If you are exploring the park on your own, start by picking up a map at one of the visitor centers and plot your routing.”

“Their permanent collection is incredible, they have Starry Night by Van Gogh. Check their website for what's currently showing. They have free Fridays, so check the website for the time too!”
