There are 3 grocery stores in Kutchan, about a 10 minute car ride.

MaxValu is a larger supermarket than the small convenience stores in Niseko. An amazing selection of fresh meat, seafood and vegetables. They also have a good selection of western products. You need a car to get there, or take a taxi. You can cycle in summer

Pretty much your one stop shop for food, pharmacy needs. Caters well to international food requirements.

You can catch a bus from Hirafu to Max Valu. It is considered bad manners to eat in public places so please do not eat on the bus.
