There are several bars to choose from at this hotel. The Sticky Wicket Gamesroom is fun place for drinks, dinner & darts. Big Bad John's is a hole in the wall peanut bar, a Victoria cult classic.

The Strathcona is a hotel but is also many other things! It has a large Pub, It has a games room (Pool tables, darts), it has two nightclubs (one for a more sophisticated crowd and one for a younger crowd), It has a small Cantina called called 'Big Bad Johns' (bartenders wear overalls, peanut shells all over the floor and bras hanging on the ceiling!) and during the summer months, they have a rooftop patio bar with beach volleyball. $

Whether you like the pub, the club, or the rooftop terrace, the Strathcona has it all. Head up to the Rooftop for beach volleyball, stay inside at the Sticky Wicket to get out of the rain, or venture downstairs to Distrikt if you're into the club scene.
