This museum can be found on the A49 in Craven Arms. There's an exhibition, gift shop, café and a 30 acre meadow to explore. It is definitely worth a visit as it is amongst other things, a tourist information centre for the Shropshire Hills. If you are interested in Geocaching, you will be interested to know that there are more than 40 caches within 10 miles of the Centre.

Surrounded by stunning countryside the Discovery Centre shares much about the history of the local area.

Somebody dug up a woolly mammoth near here, so they themed their tourist information centre around it with an exhibition. Truly excellent cafeteria with well cooked food.
