The inn has been run by its tenants, the Roberts family, since 1911. In 1993, the inn received the first prize of CAMRA National Pub of the Year award, and was runner up for the prize in 1998.

Short drive. If you want to travel back about 70 years in time (and I strongly recommend it as an 'experience') try this pub for something different. Check opening times.
