The beautiful French inspired Loretto Chapel houses the famous Miraculous Staircase. The staircase is a marvel of carpentry and architecture - it contains no nails! It is said to have been built for the nuns at the Loretto convent by St. Joseph himself, in answer to their prayers for access to a choir loft.
