About an hour from the Lodge is this very fancy cheese factory in Pyengana. Not exactly cheap but very delicious cheese and well worth a visit.

Local cheeses. Nice spot for a simple lunch. Watch the cows milking themselves!

Need a break from riding? Prefer just to eat cheese and ice-cream? This place has you covered. FREE CHEESE TASTINGS!! But actually they're not free, because you are going to love what you taste and end up buying all the cheese. Also, a beautiful little cafe with an outdoor area that looks onto the stunning rolling green hills dotted with dairy cows.
