One of Hawaii's most beautiful beaches, Mauna Kea Beach is just a short 15-minute drive from our property. Enjoy lunch and cocktails at HAU tree beach restaurant, or enjoy the views and sunset at Copper Bar or an excellent dinner at Manta Restaurant.

This is a beautiful white sand beach. It can't get too crowded because it is part of a resort. Parking is extremely limited. Get to the gate early if you'd like a parking spot.

A mid-century architectural wonder built by the Rockefellers in 1965. The hotel sits on Kauna'oa Beach just north of Hapuna. Limited public parking, showers and restrooms.Have a drink at the pool bar.

Free tour of collection of 1,600+ artifacts and artwork from Asia/Pacific countries; native Hawaiian and other chests, carvings, drums, sculptures, statues: Hawaiian quilts and kapa cloth. Also, there is a Rockefeller collection of art designated to be displayed outside of frames or cases. Check-out Sunday brunch or sunset bars.

The most beautiful white sandy beach on this side of the island (in my opinion)... Parking is limited, so try to go early! or maybe later in the afternoon if you miss the early slot. Pricey, yet delicious cocktails and food served at the hotel's bar on the beach if you don't pack a lunch.
