This is a mini store. If you want the real thing ( and it's worth making the trip), go to Freeport to see the mini village of L.L. Bean. It is about 140 miles south.

While the flagship/main store is in Freeport (a day trip), this outlet store in Ellsworth is pretty good and has a better selection of outlet items than the outlet store in Freeport. If you are driving through Ellsworth, its worth the stop.
