This is the reincarnation of Milk & Honey—the original NYC neospeakeasy and birthplace of the modern cocktail movement. Every cocktail here involves a conversation with the bartender. You want something smoky and peaty, and you like honey? He’ll make something just for you. It takes handcrafted to the next level—even the ice is cut to order. There’s no sign in front of this bar. It’s marked only by two letters: AB. It’s very easy to walk past it. Also, you have to have a reservation. If you just walk in, you’ll be waiting a while.

A hidden spot with top-notch cocktails, it gets busy on some nights, so go early. You must ring the bell and wait to be seated inside. Every guest must have a seat. There might be a wait, but once inside, it's well worth it. If you're willing to pay top price for a handmade cocktail, this is the spot to do it.

Speakeasy with delicious cocktails and no cocktail menu. There is no sign on the door, knock or ring the buzzer at 134 Eldridge St (look for a window marked with M&H Tailors and Alterations). Often difficult to get in, as it is a small venue.
