Called on short calle Larios , it is the most known street on Malaga. Walking street that crosses downtown, between Plaza de la Constitution and Plaza de la Marina (the port). If there is an important event, it is on Larios! Want shopping? Larios.
Calle Larios is the main street in Malaga. Calle Larios and Plaza de la Constitución are in the heart of the old town. This is where everything happens in Malaga.
Most of the big brands are located around Calle Larios, but the old town is packed with interesting little places. The big brands stay open all day, smaller stores tend to close 2-5 pm. There is El Corte Ingles (big department store) across the other side of the dry river bed along with a shopping centre (Larios Mall). Plaza Mayor is a quick train ride away from the centre and is a big outdoor shopping centre with a very good designer outlet mall next door.

You can walk around the center of Malaga without problem. It’s the best way to get to know it. You can’t leave the city without walking Calle Larios and seeing it’s shops. Enter “Sabor a España” store and try some caramelised almonds.
