4 miles away. This is the one of two places in DC I recommend you eat. (The other is the cafe at the Smithsonian Native American Museum.) It’s in Georgetown across the Arlington Key Bridge. It’s a very, very long walk, but some really enjoy the scenery. (1) It is one of the healthiest food places to eat in the greater DC area. The taste is almost 100% authentic and kids go crazy for Zatar fries. (2) The prices are extremely reasonable. You can get 4 falafel pita pockets for the price of one at Shouks. And the taste is fresher. (3) A portion of profits go to refugee organizations. You will be eating food that refugees eat at campsites across war-ravaged countries. To them one falafel is a luxury. It reminds us to give thanks for whatever we might have.

quick street food just a block down the street that's all the craze! It's great for a quick snack expecially if you are heading down to the river or M street to eat and walk...you won't be sorry you sampled it.

Yum! These falafels are delicious and one $4 each! On top of that, for each falafel you buy, they feed a person in need! Great concept, delicious food. Always fast service.
