natives to the area referred to this as The Healing Springs. people would come from miles around to submerge there loved ones that were in pain into these natural spring waters. lots of trails where you can also go to the marina side and rent Kayaks canoes or pontoon boats to go down salt run.

About 15 minutes away Salt Springs has hardware store, Dollar General, a couple restaurants & a small outdoor market on Saturdays until noon, & a gas station with ethanol free gas.
