During the spring and summer months head to Powell River's Farmers Market (it's held every Saturday & Sunday). You'll find lots of fresh fruits and veggies here as well as artisan baking and crafts. Definitely worth checking out! The market is a 8-10 minute drive from the suite.

This is the best farmer's market for families! In the centre of the market there is a kids sand box, and lots of other toys. It is easy to leave your child to play and also keep an eye on them while you walk around the market. There is also a mini train that Mitch (your host) volunteers with. You can ride the train for a $2 donation to the Therapeutic Riding Association. There is also often live music in addition to great food and goods!
