If you like walking and want to experience forest and not just parks this is a close alternative. Just walk Övre Husargatan up towards linneplatsen and the straight forward Until you reach botanical garden. Walk in the park up to the japanice garden Until the garden stops with a gate. You open it and - wow you reach the forest and some parts is the arboretum. A great Wiew point is also here as you can se from the pictures.

Härlig promenad som tar ca 20 min att gå till sedan kan man gå direkt in i Botaniska trädgården. Väldigt vacker dal bakom Sahlgrenska med ett fantastiskt fågelliv och vacker natur. När man sedan tar sig in i Botaniska från baksidan kommer man till den Japanska och Korianska trädgården vilken också ger en fantastisk utsikt över nästan hela Göteborg. I botaniska finns sedan ett jätte mysigt och gott café.
