Gloss Mountains offer stunning views! Hike to the top! Wildlife such as lizards, snakes, soaring buzzards, hawks, and tarantulas may be able to be seen in the summer.

45 minutes west of Enid, you finally see some change in topography! You can scale the butte (using the stairs), then explore the entire place. You can see for miles at the top. Bring a hat, sun glasses, sunscreen and water! There is a possibility of rattlesnakes, so just watch out for them. There are picnic pavilions, and an outhouse type restroom, but no other facilities.

Nice hike to top of mountain. Eisen glass found in places. Gyp hills. Scenic views, picnic area. Good trip about 20 miles from Waynoka.
