A short drive that will take you through many old towns and even by the famous Evangeline tree in St. Martinville. This lake is massive and shows off the beautiful swamp and Cypress trees. Leblanc Swamp Tours is located right next to Lake Martin and for $26/person you can experience local wildlife such as birds and alligators. I highly recommend the tour because the tour guides are very knowledgeable and will teach you and show you everything about the amazing ecosystem.

Lake Martin is a beautiful spot to visit. You can walk, drive, canoe or kayak your way around. Amazing Bird LIfe. And Alligators!
