This a lovely pub sitting on the Kennet and Avon canal. It is less than a 10 minute drive to get there from the cottage.

Good pub food. Buzzy atmosphere, with access to garden on the Kennet and Avon Canal. Book to avoid disappointment.

Probably about a 10 minutes drive away but well worth it once you are sitting out in the meadow watching the canal boats sail slowly past. The food is delicious and they have a large variety of different beers.
