The Museum of the Bible is a museum in Washington D.C. which documents the narrative, history, and impact of the Bible. It opened on November 17, 2017, and has 1,150 items in its permanent collection and 2,000 items on loan from other institutions and collections.
Best visual tour it’s mind blowing! You don’t have to be religious. The dead seas scrolls are there and a lot more. 24 hour security out front in case anyone tries to steal dead scrolls! Line out the door during the day. One block away!
This place is fascinating and has more historical content and artifacts then one can imagine. They also have good food. If you like museums, this should be on your list as well as all of the Smithsonians-which by the way, are free to enter.
