Lots of great arts and crafts and quite a Portland scene - every Saturday and Sunday
This is a large outdoor market. There are vendors that sell food, art, jewelery, clothing, souvinirs...etc. Most of the things for sale are made locally. They have street performers and stage performers. You don't want to miss out on Saturday market that is also open on Sundays.
An iconic market on the downtown waterfront. It’s called the Saturday Market but it is Saturday and Sunday spring to fall.

“Portland may not be the art mecca as cities like New York or Chicago are, but it does have a modestly sized museum that offers some classic and contemporary art pieces, as well as local and Native American art. It’s actually one of the oldest museums in the country and it’s worth the trip for any art lover. Tickets are $20 for adults, and free for kids under 17, making it a great place to visit for families.”

“In the summertime, do bring a swimsuit and swimming sandals or shoes. The docks outside OMSI (just a little north of the building) by Alder Creek Kayak are a great place to live like a local and get a little urban swimming in. ”
