Museo d'arte
“One of the foremost modern art collections in the US. Various movements, themes, and styles are represented. The Permanent Collection includes pieces by Pablo Picasso, Philip Guston, Anselm Kiefer, Robert Motherwell, Susan Rothenberg, Jackson Pollock, Andres Serrano, Cindy Sherman, Andy Warhol. Cafe Modern is a great place to grab lunch, enjoying views of the museum’s reflecting pool. Hours: Mon: Closed. | Tue-Sun: 10a-5p. Admission: $16 for adults (free on Fridays, half-price on Sundays.) Parking: typically free. Located next door to the Kimbell. Might as well do both. (The Amon Carter Museum is also right there and great, too!)”

“Designed by renowned architect Philip Johnson (1906-2005), the Amon Carter Museum of American Art houses a preeminent collection of American art including painting, sculpture, and works on paper; it has been a Fort Worth institution since 1961. The collection spans early nineteenth-century expeditionary art to mid-twentieth century modernism and includes masterworks by artists such as Frederic Church, Stuart Davis, Arthur Dove, Thomas Eakins, Winslow Homer, Georgia O'Keeffe, and John Singer Sargent. The museum is one of the nation's major repositories of American photography and holds the archives of luminaries such as Nell Dorr, Laura Gilpin, Eliot Porter, and Karl Struss.”

“The Kimbell Art Museum has earned a reputation as one of the top small museums in the world. The facility itself is a work of art. Despite its modest size, this museum is a must-see for any art buff.”

Ristorante
“We usually go on a week night when it's night and quiet. We love the patio! For healthy ingredients and local fare, this is a must. My absolute favorite is the noodle bowl on the kids menu. I add a little extra broccoli and sauce for my adult self- yummiest sauce I've ever eaten! ”

Ristorante
“Not far from our Airbnb and a friendly neighborhood place! This restaurant opened in 1926 and has been serving great TexMex food in the same building ever since! This place gets loud and busy over the weekends especially around the dinner hours but has a fun and laid back environment. We love the Original burrito there. ”
