Although the food isn't British (Portuguese peri peri chicken), this chain is a firm favourite in the UK. There's a popular expression which is "going for a cheeky Nando's". They serve all things chicken (veggie options available) with a choice of sauce and sides.

It's not new or original to Canary Wharf; there are branches across London but the Piri Piri chicken is what draws in the crowds and it has a happy, party atmosphere.
