Get out and explore the hiking trails at Beltzville State Park. Beltzville State Park features 15 miles of scenic hiking trails that vary in distance and difficulty. Trails follow wooded paths, old roads, and grassy walkways through forests, valleys, and fields. Some offer views of Beltzville Lake and waterfalls. The Saw Mill Trail is just west of the dam and passes small ponds, an old slate quarry, a wetland, and a stream. The Falls Trail is a beginner-friendly avenue to Wild Creek Falls. Hikers can view the gentile cascade from a wooden bridge. Trail guides are available at the park office.

The 3,002-acre Beltzville State Park is in the southern foothills of the Poconos. Pohopoco Creek, an excellent trout stream, feeds the 949-acre Beltzville Lake, which is a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and is a destination for boaters and anglers. The sand beach and picnic pavilions are very popular.
