Abby, that to close last year for the lack of monks, but is still a great place to see and visit, endless hiking possibilities around it

Recommended if you like monasteries. Special place nearby the Eifelsteig (very nice hiking trail). There are sometimes Taizé prayers that are worth it to take part in with brother Stephan. You can fish in the monastery ponds for traut or other fish. They have a restaurant and a small religious store also open on Sunday’s. They also do the monks prayers and you can join them doing it. For special events in the monastery check their web page.
