Has various activities on different nights including karaoke, quiz nights, pool competitions etc. Food is good and reasonably priced. This is in Waipapa.

he Pioneer Restaurant & Bar is your new local, with a typical kiwi exterior and great pub food inside you'll be sure to return. Most nights at the bar there's some kind of event, karaoke Thursday, Sunday roasts, theres always something going on and on the weekends a courtesy van is available! Outdoor and indoor seating to suit the weather, and a great place for kids to run around in the afternoon. The food is good, hearty, Kiwi pub food and the atmosphere is chilled out.

This is the LOCAL. Only a 2 minute drive away or a 30 minute walk along walking track. Great pub food at a really good price plus Karaoke night on Wednesday if your feeling brave!
