One of our very favourite places to visit, Gibraltar Point nature reserve has some amazing walks through the countryside, through woodland areas and along the beach. It also has a great cafe with the most spectacular views.

(11 miles from Miles) This coastal nature reserve offers some great walks – many of which are fully accessible – as well as cycle paths. Dogs are welcome on short leads and the reserve is an excellent place for bird watching. There is a cafe for light refreshments.

Are you a twitcher or just fancy walking for miles on the beach this is the place for you, quiet and tranquil and even the sight of the odd migrating bird.

Unique Coastal Nature Reserve away from the crowds. Choice of pathways for walks. Bird watching, ponds, lagoons, salt and freshwater marshes. Excellent interactive and audio visual displays in the visitor centre.
