A beach in Berlin? A dune near the airport? Yes, yes ... both possible. This is a true gem, and its not that difficult getting there. I love this lake that was created when the built Tegel airport. Its located in the middle of a forest, has a very sandy beach and an incredible peaceful atmosphere. Great for a swim in summer!

Small lake, near to U Otisstraße, with little beach units - really nice in summer for swimming for free.
