Informazioni su questo luogo
ANXO (AN-CHO) is a Basque-inspired restaurant and bar as well as the first licensed cidery in Washinton, DC. Chef Alex Vallcorba draws on his Catalan roots, cooking at Asador Etxebarri in the Basque Country, and experience in DC to present a fun menu that allows phenomenal ingredients to shine and encourages guests to share plates and talk about food. Start with a few pintxos from the daily offerings and then order a couple plates per person from the dinner menu to share with your table.

Here we usually just buy the vermouth, one of our favorite drinks. Food is not Di's favorite.
$$(Nearby) Spanish tapas and cider bar around the corner from us. They have a big patio outside. Food is yummy (but small plates tho)
We love this place. We enjoy sitting down trying out different wines paired with their grilled branzino!!
Wonderful Basque-style tapas and cider. Stylish interior and great patio.

“Nearby, farm to table and supppper local but cozy vibes. Hit up the cash only bar across the street on Road Island on Sunday to see some good live music. ”

“Extra chill, low key, incredible cocktails. You'll think you walked into Ron Burgundey's man cave decked out with oak, mahogany, and rich leather. Seriously, this place is probably the best cocktail bar/vibe in DC.”

“Nice cafe. Di used to come here a lot pre pandemic to work and to eat. Her favorite items on the menu are the palmito arepa, egg arepa, beef arepa, and pork empanadas. Coffee is very good. ”
