Pocatello Gateway to the West is the fifth-largest city in the state, just behind Idaho Falls (population of 56,813). Pocatello is the home of Idaho State University and the manufacturing facility of ON Semiconductor. Pocatello Surrounded on three sides by snow-capped mountains, Pocatello is a beautiful small city in the heart of eastern Idaho. The unspoiled wilderness in and around the city is perfect for cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter or hiking and biking in the summer.

Our family's favorite things to do in Pocatello: visit Museum of clean, Fort Hall Replica, Idaho Museum of Natural History, Zoo Idaho, Swore Farms, Shoshone-Bannock Tribal Museum, Ice cream & frozen yogurt, Bamboo Garden restaurant, 2 theatres: The Reel, Carmike theater, The Fun Zone, Red Box, Simplot Games, Stephens Performing Arts Center, ISU campus theater and games center, Facebook Marketplace, Ross Park. These are not all open year round. Check 'em out!
