Drive or hike to the top of Grandfather Mountain and walk the swinging bridge for breathtaking views. There's not much hiking needed when driving to the top but be prepared for the wind.

Amazing views of the area from Grandfather Mountain. Drive to the top, walk the bridge out to the rocky outcropping. For those who want a little adrenaline kick, climb the ladders to McCrae's Peak - trailhead is just off the upper parking lot.
