Slim's is great for breakfast, with a diner atmosphere and great food. The pancakes are so tasty. There's sometimes a wait (half hour), which is the perfect time to check out the Petworth farmer's market, 100 feet away from Slim's

A brand new retro diner serving some of the best breakfast fare in DC. My favorite are the lemon-ricotta pancakes.
