This area also has a favorite trail of ours, called Rough Canyon Trail. Micah Mine Trail is fun for kids who want to pick up some micah at the end of the trail. In hotter months, always go early in the morning and be back between 10 and 11ish. Otherwise, pack plenty of water. Always take water regardless. These are desert trails.

Great little 3 mile hike along a stream bed with lots of trees and birds.
