A must visit! Do the self guided driving tour and learn about the life of LBJ. I personally love to run through, it’s about 5 miles total.
The fish 🐠 may be a little smaller than you’d prefer, but the memories are always super size!
Also know as the Texas Whitehouse, the Johnson family ranch is a National Park with longhorns, a bison herd, deer and wildflowers along with the ranch house, LBJs private plane, family cemetery and more. Guided tours are offered so check the website for more information.
The park is open 9 AM – 5:30 PM daily. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's days. Be sure to stop first at the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site for a map and a free driving permit.
Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park tells the story of our 36th President beginning with his ancestors until his final resting place on his beloved LBJ Ranch. This entire "circle of life" gives the visitor a unique perspective into one of America's most noteworthy citizens by providing the most complete picture of any American president.
