“Prudential Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the central business district of Newark. New Jersey's home for live entertainment, NJ Devils Hockey, concerts, Seton Hall pirates basketball and great family shows. It opened in 2007. The arena officially seats 16,514 patrons for hockey games, up to 18,711 for basketball and 20,000 + for concerts. Fans and sports writers have affectionately nicknamed the arena "The Rock" in reference to the Rock of Gibraltar, part of its logo. ”
