Mt Magazine is so high in the clouds that they say it has it's own climate. It is the tallest mountain between the Rockies and the Appalachians. There is a restaurant with a full bar and a visitor center full of artifacts. There is a private service that provides a guided four-wheeler ride.

Some really cool hiking trails and an awesome scenic view of the valley. There is a restaurant in the lodge that serves standard food. Would make a fantastic day trip from the cottage.

Highest elevation in the Ouachita mountains at 2,753’. Beautiful trails and lodge!

Great hiking trails here, too. Pinnacle's view is more dramatic, but this is the highest point in the State of Arkansas.
