Nice park in East Sac, Rose Garden, public pool (not that you'll need that). Newer playground for the kiddos Smallish library
This park has a community center, community pool, new children's playground, baseball diamonds, library, soccer area, duck pond, tennis courts, rose garden, picnic areas, and lots of open spaces for people to spread out.

McKinley Park is one of the most beautiful parks in Sacramento. Large enough for duck ponds, a large playground, soccer fields, baseball fields, tennis courts, and a pool. You will also find joggers and walkers getting some exercise on the path circling the park. One lap around the park is one…
Take your meal to the recently renovated pond at nearby McKinley Park, where 1,200 rose bushes in bloom from March through May. The garden was featured in Greta Gerwig’s 2017 film “Lady Bird”— a love letter to her hometown — which has inspired walking and running tours of the film’s locations.
