Beautiful scenery. Offers over 35 miles of trails open to hikers and bikers. Swimming, Fishing and Kayak rentals available as well as caving with an experienced guide.

Rated the 2nd BEST state park in Texas! Beautiful scenery and beautiful waterfall’s. Caves to explore. The park requires reservations , so be sure and make a reservation with the park for your hiking ahead of time .

Great hiking and canoeing on the upper end of the lake. This is where the Colorado river flows into Lake Buchanan. Also reachable by boat if the lake is at least 1016' in elevation. Note: to drive there you will be going on about 10 miles of graded road - no pavement.
