This recreation area includes fishing in the stocked lakes and the Little Colorado River in Greer. There are many great hiking trails throughout the forest. Mount Baldy is a beautiful 5 hour intermediate hike from the trailhead at Sheep's Crossing.

Entrance is south off of Artists Draw, west of Deer Hill...closest place to hike or ride horse/ATV. Unit 23 produces trophy elk & mule deer. Other wildlife includes coyote, black bear, mountain lion.
