This is a world class conservation zoo in a spectacular setting and we highly recommend it. Many unusual animals that you will view from above and below ground, and even in an amphitheatre. Go early for the best animal viewing. The underground viewing points are a life saver on a hot day. The buffet restaurant is open for lunch and dinner (July-August only) and very unique.

Bioparc Zoo de Doue-la-Fontaine in the heart of the Loire Valley, is internationally recognized for its involvement in the preservation of endangered species. Camp Giraffes, rhinos valley, large South American aviary, canyon leopards, okapi sanctuary ... there are more than 1,000 animals from around the world gathered in this unique troglodyte zoo.
