Vargas Paradise in Bombay BeachOne block from the Salton Sea, the artsy „Vargas Paradise“ apartment is the perfect spot to explore one of the coolest and most eccentric towns in the United States. Bombay Beach is a photographers and filmmakers dream. It has the feeling of a Mad Max movie set combined with the Americana vibe of the 1960s and 1970s. The perfect spot to write that next chapter of your new book or edit your documentary. A great base from which to explore sites such as Salvation Mountain, East Jesus and Slab City.
Rancho Santa Rosa Casita/Art Gallery Spa & SaunaThis was a cattleman's bunkhouse at the turn of the century. The structure is made of adobe, wood and stone and is located on the San Jacinto/Santa Rosa National Monument. It borders with the San Bernardino National Forest and is across the highway from hiking and equestrian trails. Also on the property is a public art gallery Robert Ferguson Fine Art and artists studio. The bed is either a king or 2 twins. We also have an 18ft trailer that sleeps 2 additional $98 for the length of the stay.
Experience the Magic of Slab CitySlab City hosts a collection travelers, gypsies, outcasts, and eclectics and my hostel is a reflection of that. Choose to spend the night in one of our multiple RVs or "rough it" beneath the starry desert sky in one of our outdoor rooms.
