This is such a fun day trip and a true NYC experience. Take the N/Q train to the last stop, Coney Island and there you can go to the beach, visit the amusement park (Luna Park), go to "Nathan’s" for hot dogs and beer...it's a cool place!

To see a gospel service (really worth it!), go to “The Greater Refuge Temple”, the gospel music is really amazing and the ladies dressed in their Sunday best will transport you to another era. While in Harlem, “Amy Ruth’s” is a great place to eat soul food.

Beautiful park with a nice promenade. It's a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The bike ride from Chelsea Piers to Battery Park along the Hudson River is a very nice ride!
