Hands down the best restaurant in Richmond and worth the drive. Very pricy and I'd recommend adults only. Have anything on the menu, it's all amazing. They're booked weeks in advance for a table, but you can almost always sit at the bar before 7pm on a weekday.

The Japanese garden is our favorite, with massive koi swimming around as you rock hop across the pond. Be sure to tour the Maymont House, former home of the Dooleys.
