Open all year round it hosts your stiff, cheap drinks, smoking allowed inside, and an eclectic group of folks; from locals, bikers, tourists looking for local flavor. You never know, you may end up dancing on the bar, literally! Enter at your own risk, but it can be one fun time. If you're here for any local events or during the summer for the free concerts in Eproson Park, you're probably going to end up dancing on the bar.

During the spring, summer and early autumn outdoor seating is available around the fire pit out back off the bar. What can I say other than the Steamed Donkey is an iconic Pinecrest Lake restaurant. During the summer the back outdoor bar area is hopping with summer lake-goers. I love Pinecrest Lake ~ Rent motor boats, Pontoon Boats! (Jr. Size or Sr. Size), kayaks, paddle boats, or, just relax on the beach, fish off the rocks, hike the entire lake, and people watch! It's a fabulous and gorgeous spot off of HWY 108 for the whole family! The Steamed Donkey Restaurant is a great place to grab some drinks during the summer while enjoying their back outdoor patio, or for dinner (be sure to make reservations, it's small and gets crowded fast). You will not be disappointed once you drive down into this pristine lake community!

This is a stunning, remote lake that is a lovely drive up HWY 108 past Strawberry. You must bring your own boat or watercraft if you wish to be on the water; however, there is a boat launch site. Bring a picnic and sit on the beach, or hike the dam. Gorgeous views and the freshest air. Great place to spend the day. Be sure to check road conditions, if we've had a bad winter the roads may be closed into the summer. We can probably get you the correct info.
