Just down the hill from my house is my favourite pub serving Thornbridge beers (a local brewery). It's a beautiful building with friendly staff and a fantastic range of beers. Dog friendly too!

I love this place! It's the other side of town from my house but well worth going to. Down in the basement of an old cinema you'll find delicious pizzas, amazing cocktails, table tennis, and live music. Check their website to see what's on!

By day, the Great Gatbsy is wonderful for 2-4-1 deals on their incredible tacos & burritos. By night, they're serving up wonderful cocktails, have a DJ playing, and it usually gets pretty busy with people dancing. It's a bit of a favourite of mine for an after-work drink.

Just down the road you will get to Rivelin Valley. This is a wonderful stretch of woodland along a river where you can see evidence of Sheffield's historic steel industry in its natural setting (river-powered grind stones!). You can walk along here for miles...

Yes the pin is for a BMX track, but this is just one part of the lovely Bole Hills. This is where I walk my dogs as it's just 5 minutes from my house. There are stunning views across the north of Sheffield, and it's a lovely place to go and watch the sunset.

Arts & Culture
Definitely worth seeing what is on at the Crucible and Lyceum theatres. The Crucible is one of the UK's best regional theatres (as well as being home of the Snooker) and the Lyceum is the place to go for touring productions and the panto.
