Big beautiful in the middle of the city. The Botanical Garden of Copenhagen is a very nice place for kids as well as their parents, a rare tropical experience in the scandinavian north.

Swim in in the Canal running through Copenhagen in this cool free outdoor public place. Lots of nice cafes, grass areas to chill out and a 5 meter jump if you dare. walk there in 20-30 min. or metro.

This is probably the bakery that is closest. It is a classic danish bakery with bread, croissants, baguette, cakes, juice & the likes. I think they serve take away coffee. Great for breakfast shopping

Cafe Under Elmene is a very nice Cafe/Coffee shop. They have good classic cafe-food like gourmet burgers, pasta dishes, salads and sandwiches. They also serve great coffee and you can sit outside.

Very nice little local restaurant. Dish of the day, great danish food (meat, potatoes and gravy) prices a reasonable and it has a very cosy atmosphere. Also, they have MANY different good beers!

Take Away Sandwiches at its best. Homemade bread, fresh and delicious. Try a number 15, slow cooked lamb with tzatziki. Prob my favorit sandwich in town. Go sit at the canal and see life pass by

Nyhavn (New Harbor) is a small harbor stretching into city center. It's filled with restaurants and bars and the old architecture is beautiful. Very close to walking street and other attractions.

On top of a newly build hotel you'll find a wonderful sushi. I used to work there and the food, wine and drinks are really good. Besides this you'll get one of the best panoramic views of town

Fields is a huge shopping center with a giant grocery store, hundreds of different shops and a food court. The metro stops right outside the entrance. Great place for any kind of shopping.

Cheap Grocery-shopping - This is the place. It is not a high-end place, but you'll find most things and you won't find it cheaper elsewhere. Netto is the most popular grocery chain in CPH.

This is the best bakery in town, it is also quite expensive. But here you will find all you need and everything is very very delicious. Cakes, bread, cookies, coffee, sandwiches, dairies and so on.

The Tivoli Gardens Amusement Park is the oldest amusement park in the world. Besides many great rides the park is beautifully decorated with flowers everywere - Tivoli is fun for kids and adults.
