Hotel prices but with an unbeatable view overlooking lagoon three. Try the kalua pulled pork sandwich or the fish tacos. Good bar selection as well.

The latest location of Eggs 'n Things is now open in Ko Olina, yippee! There are lines out the door at their Waikiki locations and it’s busy here as well. Great assortment of breakfast and lunch items at prices that are well below what you'd pay over at the hotels across the street. We’re partial to Portuguese sausage and the Macadamia Nut Pancakes with Lilikoi syrup.

Starbucks is conveniently located in the Ko Olina Station shopping center near our home. Order using the app and run inside to pick up your espresso drink of choice. There is a fifteen minute grace period for parking outside, enough time to go in and grab and go. It’s where we go for our morning Latte.

Located on lagoon three right on the beach. Head left once you exit our beach gate. Great cocktails and lunch items. It's usually our first stop after a quick swim at the beach.

The newest spot in Ko Olina offers local brews on tap, excellent food, multiple TV’s and they pick up and drop off! We enjoy going over here at happy hour and ordering the giant pretzel. We also enjoy their Poke bowl.

Close proximity to your villa. Walk over & watch the throngs of tourists bused in from Waikiki. Ah yes, you are Akamai for not staying over there. Luau is touristy but enjoyable. Good for 1st visit.

You came all the way over, you know you must try surfing! Our friends from the mainland visited us recently and we signed up their 17 year old who was three for three on catching waves and standing!

Around the Island Parks & Nature
If you're in good physical shape and would like to see an amazing view of Waikiki and Honolulu, then steep stairs, pill boxes, dark tunnels and a lot of walking shouldn't dissuade you. It's a strenuous hike but one we've taken with our 62 year old mom who is in excellent shape. Beautiful views will reward you at the end of the hike. Bring plenty of drinking water and also snacks if so inclined.

It's a strenuous hike but one we've taken with our 62 year old mom who is in excellent shape. Beautiful views will reward you at the end of the hike. A great swimming beach with parking at a premium. The only times we've been able to swim here is when we've had a driver drop us off and then pick us up later. Worth the effort.
