Food Scene

Superbly authentic Italian food (owners are from Rome) that is also affordable. You'll get homemade noodles and sauces here! Tiny place, call ahead if your group is large. Right across from the Falls in downtown Idaho Falls, too!

It's really, really good pizza that doesn't skimp on toppings. Dough and sauces made fresh daily. Menu has a variety of other fare (sandwiches, pastas, wings, etc). It also has beer. And it's right across the road. Win/win!

It looks sketch from the outside, (don't know why the pics show Maverick...it's NOT inside Maverick) but it's a hidden gem if you're in the mood for quick Mexican food! Large portions, fairly cheap, and only a few minutes away in Ririe.

Sightseeing

Only about 1.5 miles down the road from here is a popular, accessible, developed hiking trail (Handicap accessible for most of the lower loop, dirt trail for the upper loop) that is perfect for families and all ages/skill levels. Named after the creek that it follows, which flows from the mountain into the river and is abundant with Cress (edible) and if you look for them (turn over the rocks) lots of Crawdads! Crayfish. Baby Backward Lobsters, as our kids call them. Fun to catch! Views are great, and the hike has several historical/I formational signs along the way.
