We have done it with a 4 and 8 year old. Leave very early in the morning if you want to beat the crowds - but it is worth it!

We have done it with a 4 and 8 year old. Leave very early in the morning if you want to beat the crowds - but it is worth it!

This small village was painted blue for the launch of the Smurfs movie. The village is now smurf themed… You can visit on the way to Ronda. However, don't expect too much - as it is still a sleepy small town - now just in blue. It is a beautiful, windy drive there.

You can do Tangier on a daytrip if you leave early in the morning and catch a boat from Tarifa. You can also stay a night in Tangier, to make it less of a full-on-day. It is a completely different world here - meander through the Medina and buy some Maroccan pottery.
