Is-Suq tal-Belt, also known as the Covered Market, is a 19th-century market hall located in Valletta. It is notable for being the first building in Malta to be constructed mostly of iron. The newly refurbished Is-Suq tal-Belt is now a food court where you can enjoy many different food stalls serving a variety of dishes. On the lower floor there is also an upmarket Gourmet Supermarket.

Hastings Gardens is a public garden situated on the left side of the Guesthouse. It is located on top of St. John's Bastion and St. Michael's Bastion, on the west side of the City Gate. The garden offers breathtaking views of Floriana, Msida, Ta'Xbiex Yacht Marina,Sliema, and Manoel Island.
