Forest Road 295Bring cash for parking.
Park in the large parking lot on the left. There is a trail that goes under the road and you can go up or down the mountain. Go left up to the mountain and you will see a old railroad tunnel and nice views

Huckleberry Picking
Most people don’t share their spots but since you are a guest in our home we are happy to share!
Huckleberries can be picked from mid July to Late August. The season does vary every year.

There will be dense woods to your right. Park on the left side of the road and start exploring the woods on the right! You should see other vehicles there. Exact coordinates are (43.6514491, -111.5893015).

Go across the street and park in the gravel parking area. Walk down to the brush along the river and you will see a path that leads down to the water. There is an island area that you can set up your poles and relax! Cast far into the current, that's where the big fish are.
